ASSOCIATION OF BLIND CATHOLICS

HOME

The spirit of the Lord has been given to Me, for He has anointed Me. He has sent Me to bring the good news to the poor to proclaim liberty to captives, and to the blind, new sight...” Luke 4,18

Welcome

to the website of the Association of Blind Catholics (the ABC) which was founded in 1961 to give blind and partially sighted Roman Catholics - and other interested Christians - a closer link with the Church and with each other.

Members come from the British Isles and further afield and include sighted as well as visually impaired and blind people. Young members are particularly welcome so that their special needs can be better understood and catered for.

The Association was founded by Paul Questier aided by his wife Mona, and in recognition of his work, Paul, who himself is blind, was made a Knight of St. Gregory(KSG) by Pope John Paul ll in 2004.
