Membership of the ABC costs £1 per year and can be obtained if you contact us.

Membership brings you the option of a cassette tape each month containing extracts from recent Catholic newspapers and periodicals.

Membership also gives you access to the library of Christian books and articles which are currently being converted from cassette tape to DAISY System CDs for those who have this system.

Members may attend the annual Retreat.

Members are invited to the AGM held in London.

The RNIB has launched the Surf Right Toolbar, a new tool for use with Internet Explorer, designed to make adjusting viewing options easier. Many of the functions that the toolbar offers are already available on your computer and the toolbar serves to bring them all together in one place, making it easier to adjust your settings.

www.traintaxi.co.uk - is a guide to local taxis serving trains trams and underground stations throughout Britain. Put in your destination for a list of names and telephone numbers of local taxi companies which can be pre-booked.

For those of you who use Word 2007 for wordprocessing a new, free, plug-in is available to convert Microsoft’s XML output to Daisy XML. This will enable documents created in Word 2007 to be read through the DAISY system readers. More information is available from www.daisy.org
